Sub 2:19:00 marathon Personal: I used to run competitively, and maybe I will do so again someday. Right now I am primarily running to try and get in better shape, and to maintain both physical and emotional health, but also for the simple joy that comes when I run.
I am also the proud daddy of five little ones. I love the opportunity that I have to be a daddy, and my challenge is to balance my family responsibilities with work and running. |

| I ran 3 miles to school in the morning, ran another 3 miles before Anita's dance class in the evening, and then followed it up with an extra 4 miles after the class was finished. The 3 miles before the class was time limited so I ran it in about 17:20. |

| I only ran 4.5 miles today because I didn't feel very good. I think I am getting sick with something. I did run a mile and a half hard because I had to get home quickly and I had limited time, but I probably shouldn't have. |

| I ran 10 miles this evening in 1:23:xx. I ran so slow because I didn't feel very good and I was trying to run more slowly so that I could run a little farther. It was probably too much, in fact the 8.5 miles yesterday evening was probably too much considering that I slept about 12 hours last night and I still felt like my legs were not rested. |
